CONGRATULATIONS FROM STAMPIN' UP!

Whilst at National Training in Telford on Saturday, I was given this beautiful gerbera, along with some fellow demonstators, in recognition of reaching our Stampin' Start (sales & recruitment achievement) with Stampin' Up!

  

NATIONAL TRAINING - TEAM TWINCHIES

Just back from our amazing Stampin' Up National Training day in Telford.  As part of Amanda Fowler's extended team, we were able to take part in Team Twinchie swaps on the day.  Basically, we were given set colours to come up with a 2x2" card front (two-inchie) to see different interpretations from the team.   I chose to keep mine simple with Melon Mambo with the tiniest hint of Island Indigo.  I have tried & tried to get this photo the right way round but...you get the gist!

EN FRANCAIS MEETS PETITE PETALS

My favourite punches by far are Petite Petals Punch and Pansy Punch.  I have to force myself not to use them on EVERY project I create!  I did however allow them onto this card I made for a friend.  You'll notice I use Smokey Slate a lot on my projects too!  Here I've used it as the background cardstock, then layered it with Naturals Ivory cardstock stamped with En Francais in Pool Party ink.  The flowers are stamped using the same colours and finished with Rhinestones, a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and Baker's Twine. Oh, and a few Smokey Slate Candy Dots from the Neutrals Collection to finish off!

I love the Spiral Flower Originals Die from the Spring/Summer Catalogue.  I added some flowers to this pretty tea light holder & voila!  a perfect housewarming present!
